Was looking for an inexpensive Fry Pot to make some Hot Wings. I needed to be able to use it with my turkey fryer, and it needed to be big enough to make larger batches for a party. this Fry Pot "fit the Bill" perfectly. It is made a high quality aluminum, and is of a commercial grade thickness. The included basket is also paired nicely with the pot and takes full advantage of the pot's size. I was able to fry up 8 lbs of wings in about 4 batches. (Don't want to crowd 'em)
Because it's aluminum, it transfers the heat well. I actually found I needed to keep lowering the heat after it reach temperature. It is also very light for it's size.

Product cooks fast and best to use with a temperature gauge to maintain desired temperature.Would recommend this product to those who have no problem in adjusting the gas to maintain a specified temperature.

This was a great purchase, my wife loves it. We have a large garden and it has been extremely handy for blanching large amounts of vegetables for freezing or for preparing for canning.

I purchased this to use with my turkey cooker, it is just the right size for frying fish and anything else that you would need a much smaller pot. We fixed onion rings and hush puppies and everything was easy to put in and remove once it was cooked, very smart purchase.....
